What do you consider best way to solo play adventure modules?

Or do you think it's good idea at all? Of course some ready made adventures are better for this than other, for example Jewel of Javin can be played in many ways. But what if someone wanted to play Warhammer adventures? Maybe adding some random tables and variables would be good idea?
