Full Version: My first games, played a con man running a fake kidnapping scam

I am a big Mythic fan and really enjoyed my first Rpg Solo game. It certainly will not be my last.

She wants to send message to her family to let them know where she is going to be for the night.

Can I get her to wait and try to get her drunk?

I write a ransom note place it on an arrow, I fire a few practice shots the fire the note into the court yard. Does it succeed?

The note is found, will the father pay the ransom?

He alerts the Mayor for help.

Can I rent a sailboat?

Does the father drop off a fake random as instructed?

The mayor's men bungle it so you do not pick up the ransom. So I do not tip my hand.

After the bungled ransom does the girl want to continue?

(Very Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

Will she write a note begging her mother to save her by paying the ransom?

(Very Likely | 9[d10]) Yes.

I throw the note through hand maiden's window at 3 am. Does it succeed in reaching the mother?

The mother demands the father pay the ransom as instructed and quit trying to catch the kidnapper.

Does the father do ask she demands?

I ask the girl to go to the square to recover the ransom, if caught she can claim I used a spell on her. Does she do it?

She asks me to wait for her at the stage station. I will go to pick up the ransom, and the ransom note said she would be released at the square. Does the father change his mind and try a double cross?

He tells the mayor that the ransom will be in the square and sends his most trusted servant to deliver the ransom.

I make off with the ransom in the sailboat without detection.

Does the girl go to the square and is recovered?

She decides to cover for me since she doesn't want anyone to suspect she was involved.

I actually really like how you resolved play very simply and efficiently. This is was very inspiring to read, thanks!
Wow, a kidnapping gone right - that was unexpected! Nicely played :]
It was merely the notes I took while I played. I was mutli-tasking at the time and the brief notes were all I had time to accomplish. It was the least amount of bookkeeping I could do and remember what the rolls meant in context with the story.

As I have read other stories, I wish I had noted why I chose the tables I used. I have found it very interesting to read stories by other who had done this recording. I will add a more details on my second attempt.
